I’ve been doing commissioned artworks, upon request, since I was in high school. Here’s several more representational ones I’ve done over the past year or 2. Dogs are always in vogue, but more recently a trend has emerged where newlyweds are wanting to capture that commitment in paint.
The trend of having your wedding painted refers to hiring a live artist to create a painting of your wedding ceremony or reception, capturing the special moments and emotions of the day on canvas, which is becoming increasingly popular as couples seek unique ways to commemorate their wedding beyond traditional photography and videography; this is often called "live wedding painting.
artists have been gaining popularity in recent years as soon to be wed couples look for unique and personalised ways to capture wedding memories. This type of art is a unique and intimate form of expression, allowing the artist to capture the emotions and energy of the event.

Painting these more personal type artworks is enormously challenging & satisfying to me. While the physical reality is before me, I try to capture the emotions and sentiment of the occasion, person, place or thing, something that grows with the passage of time and triggers found loving memories.
While I’m discussing the wedding & pup commissions here, I also have done single portrait of people I landscapes, as well as commissioned abstract & contemporary artworks, specific to a clients vision understanding, that I do what I do and if you like that, I’m your artist and if not find one that expresses the vision you imagine.
Thank you for your time and feel free to contact me with any questions to discuss potential commissioned artworks,
Thanks Richard
